Boot Reboot And Shut Down A System Normally

Reboot system - any of these
reboot systemctl reboot shutdown -r +5 "System going down for a reboot"
- The above shutdown command broadcasts the message using the “wall” command
- The “+5” means it will reboot in 5 mins
Poweroff system - any of these
poweroff systemctl poweroff shutdown -P +10 "System is going down and will be powered off for maintenance"
Cancel a shutdown command
shutdown -c
